What to Expect:
Please arrive 15 minutes early for your first session to complete paperwork and discuss goals and objectives. Therapist may take notes before, during and after sessions in order to better meet your treatment needs.
Please let me know if you have any questions or complaints about your session. Clients are encouraged to voice their needs as they arise during the session, whether that is for deeper or lighter pressure, different draping, a change in temperature, a blanket, or to stop the session entirely.
Massage is provided unconditionally to all without regard to gender, age, race, national origin, sexual orientation, religious or political affiliation.
All massage is non-sexual. If any such references are made at any time, either therapist or client may terminate the session immediately.
To maintain client safety, comfort and privacy, draping will occur throughout the session; all areas of the body not being massaged will remain draped. Clients must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol during the session.
Under N.C. law, both therapist and client have the right to terminate the session at any time for any reason.
Client Confidentiality & Records:
All client records will be maintained confidentially. There are few exceptions to this:
- if the client gives written consent for release
- by law or court order
- if I believe the client could pose danger to self or others
Per N.C. law, client records are kept for at least four years after termination of services.
